Vehicle Code Violations used in Negligent Operator Counts Violation Point Assessment

Violation points are assigned to vehicle sections and DMV will suspend and place on probation, or revoke, the driving privilege of a negligent operator. If a Class C ( regular driver’s license) has 4 or more points in 12 months, 6 in 24 months, or 8 in 36 months. You will receive an order of probation/suspension and your driving privilege will be suspended. The action is a one-year probation that includes a six-month suspension. Attending traffic school for any speeding ticket will typically prevent points against your license, so check with the court for eligibility.
